The Rockland-Hanson Rotary Club is a community service organization serving Rockland, Hanson, Whitman, and surrounding towns. Guided by Rotary International’s motto, “Service Above Self,” the club hosts charitable events like the Carolyn Ready Memorial Golf Tournament and Bloomin’ Brewfest, which benefit local and international causes such as scholarships. Members meet weekly at The Olde Hitching Post in Hanson, with a special monthly gathering to prepare meals for Father Bill’s & MainSpring, a local homeless shelter. The club’s foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, dedicated to supporting a wide range of community initiatives.
