Super excited to invite you to the 30th Annual Carolyn Ready Golf Tournament at the Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth, Sept 15th. 7-7:45am registration with an 8am Shotgun Start. Hole in one, longest drive, closest to pin, 50/50 raffle and much more! 30 years folks! Come and join the fun!
For some time now, our Rotary club has been helping feed people at MainSpring House in Brockton. It started with the satellite shelter at the Rodeway in 2020.
We are excited to share the great news that Father Bill’s & MainSpring (FBMS) will be moving 18 shelter guests from Father Bill’s Place into individual, permanent supportive housing apartments located in the Winter Street area of Quincy. These apartments, operated by FBMS, will provide our participants with case management services and 24-hour support.
If you would like to help out with supplies to welcome folks into their homes please check out the wishlist and consider buying something. Items ship directly to the Brockton office for distribution.
Monday April 24th, it's the New Moon Brewfest. Spring into a fun season, sample the wares of local breweries and vendors. Food provided by the new Olde Hitching Post. DJ Stacy from Pick-a-Party place setting the vibe. $35 per person all included. Proceeds benefit Hanson Youth Football and Cheer Boosters and our club. Click here or contact a club member.
Need a laugh? Join us on Jan 28th at the Venus 3 in Hanson for a comedy night with three great comedians. Pizza buffet is included. Buy tickets online by clicking the "Donations" tab at the top of the page to get to our square site. Or get in touch with one of the Rotarians to get yours.
THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT. There is a possibility of cancelation tickets becoming available, contact us to be on the waitlist.
A few changes to the regular schedule. Sept 15th will be an organizing meeting for golf, Sept 22nd lunches for Father Bill's at FCCHanson. October is back to regular schedule with the third Thursday being lunch making.
Saturday, April 23rd, Clean Up day is back! In past years this has been a super successful day leaving our surrounding roadways looking fresh and clean. Great collaboration between many groups, Green Hanson, Scouts, Rotary, Kiwanis, local churches, concerned citizens. Join the fun, Hanson town hall, 9am start time. It's that time of year again, Christmas tree selling - not actual trees, paper ones.
$1 $5 $20 ALL proceeds donated to local families who need a little help at this time of year. Donations made to Hanson Community Christmas and Rockland Holiday Magic. Donate online or visit us at several locations in the upcoming weeks. This coming weekend we are at Shaw's in Hanson.
Join us at Camp Kiwanee, early morning Sunday June 13th for a fishing derby. Bring your own rods, there will be bait provided. To make sure we have enough space and bait please pre-register, there is no cost thanks to Grasso electric. Multiple age-groups, prizes for most fish and largest.
